All joking aside, 2023 was actually a great year for spreading the word about the value of low-code platforms and the rise of citizen development.

Early in the year, the Low-Code Association e.V. formed and published a manifesto highlighting the vital role low code will play in the future of software.

At HANNOVER MESSE, among the robots and powerful messages of industrial automation, we recognized growing interest in software in general, and particularly in low-code in order to accelerate the move to Industry 4.0.

And at German Low-Code Day, we first presented our vision of how generative AI can transform app development by eliminating barriers for citizen developers.

Meanwhile, on LinkedIn, we and our CEO busted some low-code myths and talked about the challenges of legacy systems, and why Excel is the Toyota Corolla of digtalization. We also gave advice on setting up a low-code team and explained how going digital is key to the survival of SMEs.

Along the way, we took inspiration from SpongeBob, Pink Floyd, and of course a few internet cats. ๐Ÿฑ
No idea what we’re talking about? Then you should certainly check out some past posts on LinkedIn from us and Roland Hรถrmann!

As the year comes to an end, we thank all of the customers who have trusted us to help them modernize and automate; the partners who make it possible for us to do even more; and of course our employees, doing amazing work every day to make sure our customers get great solutions and first-class service. None of what we do would be possible without each and every one of you.

And now… off to celebrate! Enjoy the end of the year, and we wish you a happy and successful 2024.
