The candles are burning on the Advent wreath, the first snow has fallen and, well, the Christmas stress is in full swing – even if in a slightly different way than usual. Thank goodness at least a few things have not changed this year!
Christmas is a time for traditions. But if for whatever reason you can’t carry out all your familiar customs, you have a chance to create new ones. Whether it’s playing board games over Zoom, calling your mom to help you roast your first turkey or goose or finally trying your grandmother’s cookie recipe, the holidays can still be a time to reconnect with loved ones near and far.
As a turbulent and challenging year comes to an end, we look back and reflect. While enforced remote work and the economic consequences of the pandemic have certainly had an impact, we’ve fortunate that we have still been able to welcome many new customers. The shift to full-time home office was for many companies a painful wake-up call, but at the same time the push they needed to take action on digital transformation.
Platforms like ours are enabling them to address the most urgent challenges of a distributed workforce. And as a result, more and more companies are discovering the full potential of citizen development – a win that can help them face the challenges of the new year.
After an eventful year, we would like to wish you a very joyful and calming holiday and hope you find peace in these turbulent times. We thank all of you for your support and trust, as well as the feedback that allows us to keep making our platform better. We look hopefully into 2021 and wish you a happy and successful New Year.
